Vol. 45 No. 1

Death of Deputy Thomas A. Finlay.

The House will have learned with deep regret of the death, on yesterday, of Deputy Thomas A. Finlay, member for the Constituency of Dublin County. During the period he had been in public life, the late Deputy Finlay brought to the service of his country the great gifts of intellect which had won for him the position of eminence he had reached in his profession. His contributions to debate in this House and his examination of legislative proposals were always helpful and of value. I would ask you, A Chinn Comhairle, to convey to his widow, children and relatives, an expression of our regret and sympathy. Go ndeine Dia trócaire ar a anam.

Deputies rose in their places.
