Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Pedestrian Crossings.

18.

asked the Minister for Local Government if, having regard to the difficulty experienced by pedestrians in endeavouring to cross Bachelor's Walk and Wellington Quay, Dublin, going to and from the Halfpenny Bridge, controlled pedestrian crossings will be provided at these locations.

Dublin Corporation, at the request of the Commissioner of the Garda Síochána, propose to provide pedestrian operated traffic lights at the locations mentioned in the Deputy's question. Arrangements are being made by the corporation to have the work carried out during the coming financial year.
