TDs and Senators Auction Off Original Artwork to Raise Over €7,000 for Crumlin Children’s Hospital

Creative TDs and Senators succeeded in raising over €7,000 for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin this evening when they auctioned off their own original photographs and paintings at the Mansion House, in Dublin.

The collection consists of original sketches, paintings, watercolours and photos depicting scenes from the natural world to contemporary pieces.

Event organiser and contributor Jimmy Deenihan TD said;
“I am thrilled with the enthusiastic response received from Oireachtas members to this initiative, they really got behind the project. More importantly, we managed to raise €7,825 for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin which is a really brilliant cause.”

Those Oireachtas Members who contributed were:
TDs: Mary Hanafin, Mary White, John Perry, Billy Timmins, Denis Naughten, Jimmy Deenihan, Seán Haughey, Liz McManus, Noel Treacy, Michael Mulcahy, Catherine Byrne and Ruairi Quinn.  
Senators:  David Norris, Fiona O’Malley, Ivana Bacik, James Carroll, and Cecilia Keaveney.
