12 February 2013
The Committee is scheduled to examine petitions on the following topics tomorrow:
Cathaoirleach of the Committee Pádraig Mac Lochlainn says: “The Oireachtas Petitions System, established in September, is continuing to receive a steady flow of petitions from members of the public, on a wide variety of topics. An empowering feature of the petitions system is that it is open and accessible to every single citizen. Tomorrow our Committee will have an opportunity to carefully consider a diverse series of petitions received, and how best to advance the concerns they outline in relation to delivery of public services."
