The Committee on Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs will discuss Human Resources issues in the National Museum of Ireland when it meets with its Chairperson Catherine Heaney and Director Raghnall O Floinn tomorrow, Tuesday, 11 April 2017.
Cathaoirleach of the Committee Peadar Tóibín said: “Tomorrow, the Joint Committee on Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs will meet with Catherine Heaney, Chairperson, and Raghnall O Floinn, Director of the National Museum of Ireland to discuss resourcing challenges facing the museum in a period of change. It will also discuss the actions the Museum is taking to address a number of outstanding human resource issues which have not been satisfactorily dealt with to date. Members of the Committee have been informed that these outstanding issues are impinging negatively on overall staff morale and on the well-being of individual members of staff.”
