17 April 2014: Report on the General Scheme of a Technological Universities Bill The report recommends that governing bodies of soon-to-be-established Technological Universities (TUs) should include an elected member of each of the local authorities in the principal catchment area of the University.
5 March 2014: Report on the Draft General Scheme of an Education (Admission to Schools) Bill The report calls for first-come-first-served school waiting lists to be phased out, given that they can discriminate against newcomers to an area. With the so-called "section 29" appeals process to be replaced, the Committee is also calling for an independent and transparent appeals process, which could possibly be provided for on a regional basis.
16 January 2014: Report on the General Scheme of a Gender Recognition Bill 2013 The report calls for upcoming legislation on gender recognition to confer the right to apply for a Gender Recognition Certificate from 16 years old. Provisions in the Draft General Scheme of the legislation stipulate a minimum age of 18 years.

12 November 2013: Political Contribution on Youth Guarantee Contribution on the Youth Guarantee from the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Education and Social Protection in the context of political dialogue
