Cemetery Management Bill 2013


The Cemetery Management Bill 2013 was introduced on 20 February 2013.

The bill, explanatory memorandum, and the second stage debate are available by clicking on the above link.

The bill was referred by the Dáil to the Select Sub-Committee on Environment, Community and Local Government, which referred the bill to the Joint Committee on Environment, Culture and the Gaeltacht.  The Joint Committee considered the policy issues arising from the bill.

The Joint Committee held a hearing on the policy issues arising from the Bill on Tuesday 17 November 2015 (full text) and Video.

The committee published its report on Tuesday 2 February 2016 on-line, and a hard copy will be available within a few days.
