Joint Committee on the Environment, Transport, Culture and the Gaeltacht
This Committee has an extremely broad remit and will be shadowing the activities of a number of Departments, covering some important areas of public policy in the fields of transport, the environment, culture and the Gaeltacht, including:
- achieving balanced regional development;
- environmental protection;
- addressing climate change;
- managing national and local transport issues;
- and promoting the development of Gaeltacht areas.
