Parliamentary Standard Allowance

In line with the decision of the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission at its meeting of 28 April, 2010, records of allowance payments to Members of both Dáil and Seanad Éireann are now published to the website on a monthly basis.  The records published commence from 1st March, 2010 to coincide with the new system of allowance, Parliamentary Standard Allowance (PSA), introduced on that date.

Payment of the Travel and Accommodation Allowance (TAA) is verified by attendance at Leinster House.  Members must attend a minimum of 120 days annually to receive full payment of the TAA. The publication of these records supplements the existing monthly publication of Members’ expenses and will be updated every month.
