Bill entitled an Act to provide for reform of the appointment processes of persons to the boards of statutory agencies; to provide for Oireachtas supervision of the appointment of ministerial nominees to the position of new members or the re-appointment of existing members to the boards of statutory agencies; to provide for the overseeing of and confirmation by resolution of Dáil Éireann of the appointment of ministerial nominees to the position of chief executive and board chairperson of statutory agencies; to uphold the probity of the appointment process, and to provide for related matters
