Interim Report of the

Dáil Select Committee on the Demise of Certain State Mining Rights.


INTERIM REPORT.

The Select Committee has agreed to the following Interim Report :—

That the Committee recommends—

1. (a) That the Order of Reference be amended by the fixing of the quorum in pursuance of Standing Order No. 65,

    (b) that the quorum be fixed at seven members, and

    (c) that the Committee be empowered to alter the quorum from time to time.

2. That the Order of Reference be extended to include the power to hear Counsel on behalf of witnesses if the Committee thinks fit and to fix procedure in connection therewith.

3. That the Order of Reference be extended to include the power of determining questions of procedure not already determined by the Standing Orders.
