Mini-CTC Inquiry 2000 - 2002

This page contains links to published documents relating to the parliamentary inquiry into the Mini-CTC Signalling Project published by the Joint Committee on Public Enterprise and Transport 1997 - 2002 and the Sub-Committee on the Mini-CTC Signalling Project 2000 - 2002.

The matter was considered first by the joint committee which then ordered a sub-committee to carry out a parliamentary inquiry.

Following the judgement of the High Court in the case of the parliamentary inquiry into the Abbeylara Incident, the sub-committee adjourned its hearings on 27 November 2001.

The sub-committee published its interim report on 5 April 2002.

The Supreme Court published its judgement on the parliamentary inquiry into the Abbeylara incident on 11 April 2002.

The 28th Dáil was dissolved on 25 April 2002: the Joint Committee and the sub-committee were also dissolved on that data.

The 21st Seanad ended on 26 June 2002.
