Announcement of Business for the Week:
Tuesday’s business shall be Item 6, Motion re. Sixteenth Report of the Committee of Selection (without debate); Item 7, Motion re. Amendment to Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (back from Committee) (without debate); Item 7a, Motion re. PQ Rota Change (Department of Children and Youth Affairs and Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection); Item 27, Statements on the Third Interim Report from the Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes; and Item 3, Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2017 Order for Second Stage and Second Stage. Private Members Business shall be Item 168, Motion re. Local and Regional Roads Funding, selected by Fianna Fáil.

Wednesday’s business shall be Item 3, Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2017 Order for Second Stage and Second Stage, Item 28, Public Health (Alcohol) Bill 2015 [Seanad] Second Stage (resumed); Item 4, Industrial Development (Amendment) Bill 2018 Order for Second Stage and Second Stage; and Item 27, Statements on the Third Interim Report from the Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes (resumed). Private Members Business shall be Second Stage of Item 45, Central Bank (Amendment) Bill 2018 selected by Sinn Féin.

Thursday’s business shall be Item 3, Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2017 Second Stage (resumed, if not previously concluded), Item 28, Public Health (Alcohol) Bill 2015 [Seanad] Second Stage (resumed, if not previously concluded); Item 4, Industrial Development (Amendment) Bill 2018 Second Stage (resumed, if not previously concluded); Item 27, Statements on the Third Interim Report from the Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes (resumed); and Item 29, Statements on National Broadband Procurement Process (resumed). Item 8, “Report on the Position of Lone Parents in Ireland” by the Joint Committee on Employment Affairs and Social Protection will be taken in the evening slot.

Announcement of Proposed Arrangements for this week’s business:
In relation to Tuesday’s business, it is proposed that:
1. Motion re. Sixteenth Report of the Committee of Selection, Motion re. Amendment to Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (back from Committee) and Motion re. PQ Rota Change shall be taken without debate, and any division demanded on the Motion re. PQ Rota Change shall be taken immediately; and
2. Statements on the Third Interim Report from the Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes shall adjourn not later than 8.00 p.m. Statements of a Minister or Minister of State and the main spokespersons for parties or groups, or a member nominated in their stead, shall not exceed 10 minutes each, all other members shall not exceed 5 minutes each with a 5 minute response from a Minister or Minister of State. All members may share time.

In relation to Wednesday’s business, it is proposed that:
1. Second Stage of the Central Bank (Amendment) Bill 2018 shall be brought to a conclusion, if not previously concluded, after two hours; and
2. Statements on the Third Interim Report from the Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes shall adjourn not later than 10.15 p.m.

In relation to Thursday’s business, it is proposed that Statements on National Broadband Procurement Process shall resume at 4.00 p.m. or on the conclusion of the Statements on the Third Interim Report from the Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes, whichever is the earlier, and shall conclude at 5.00 p.m., if not previously concluded, and the order shall not resume thereafter.
