Residential Tenancies (Right to Purchase) Bill 2023
In scrutinising this proposed legislation, which would require a landlord selling a rented dwelling to give a tenant an invitation to bid and a further invitation to bid to purchase the rented home, the Committee argues that this would represent an improvement in tenant rights but would also facilitate more convenient sale of property for some landlords.

Recommendations of the Dublin Citizens' Assembly
The assembly examined the possibility of establishing a directly elected mayor for Dublin and new local government structures for Dublin city and county.
The Committee indicates that because of the wide-reaching and aspirational aspects of the assembly report, its recommendations require a legal framework rooted in practicality that will facilitate the democratic mandate.
