Standing Order 86(1) states that if within a lapse of a quarter of an hour after the time appointed for a meeting of a select or special committee a quorum is not present, the committee shall stand adjourned. The Clerk attending the committee, after entering the names of the members who attended and recording the minutes of the proceedings of the committee in such a manner as the Clerk of the committee may direct, shall convene a meeting for a subsequent day or for a later time on the same day. In accordance with that standing order, I adjourn the meeting until 4.15 p.m.
