STATEMENT OF THE ACTING PRESIDENT. - FORESTRY.

"The percentage of the area of Ireland under woodland was the least of any country before the war, and during the war fifteen years of the twenty years' supply has gone. Ireland is now worse off in this respect than any other inhabited country in the world with the exception of Ireland. It will be the duty of the Dáil to find a remedy for this condition of affairs.
