Vol. F No. 16

ACTING-PRESIDENT'S OPENING STATEMENT. - ARCHBISHOP MANNIX.

He understood that His Lordship Most Reverend Doctor Mannix was due to arrive in Liverpool on Saturday, 7th August, or on the following day. He suggested that a deputation from the Dail should meet him on arrival, and that the deputation should be composed of the Deputy Speaker, Count Plunkett and Mr. MacDonagh. (This suggestion was unanimously agreed to.)
