ACTING-PRESIDENT'S OPENING STATEMENT. - FOOD SUPPLY.
As a result of negotiations with the Farmers' Union and the Labour Party both parties were now willing to abide by the decision of a tribunal set up by Dail Eireann regarding the question of Food Supplies. This question, which at one time threatened to lead to grave trouble, would now be amicably settled.
