POLITICAL PRISONERS.

J.J. WALSH (Cork City) moved the suspension of Standing Orders to draw the attention of foreign countries to the sufferings of the Lord Mayor of Cork and the prisoners in Cork Jail, and also to tender to their relatives the sympathy of the Dáil.
This was seconded by P. O MAILLE (Connemara), and the following resolution was unanimously agreed to:—
"Dáil Éireann, assembled in full session in Dublia, records its appreciation of the loyalty and devotion of the Deputy for Mid-Cork and Chief Magistrate of Cork City To him and to the sufferers in Cork Jail it sends, on behalf of the people of Ireland, assurance of sympathy and admiration. In that assurance the duly elected representatives of the people of Ireland are confident, all the civilised nations of the world join."
