Vol. S2 No. 12

SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATE.

In connection with supplementary estimate for £3,440, the first item is a sum of £1,600 in connection with relief in the west of Ireland, particularly Connemara. The actual cost of relief is in the neighbourhood of £2,000 but at the time the estimade was made it was calculated that £1,600 would cover it. The second item is a sum of £750 referred to in the Report in connection with Sligo. The third item is £500 for salaries; the fourth item is £282 for a motor car, which has been referred to in the Report, also for the engineering expert, and the total is £3,440. I move that as a supplementary estimate.

I second that.

Question put and agreed to.
