Vol. 1 No. 4

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - TRADE AND COMMERCE.

To ask the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he proposes to introduce in the near future, any legislation for the encouragement of Trade and Commerce, and by so doing to aid in the development of the country and the relief of unemployment.

The restoration of settled conditions in the country will do much more to encourage Trade and Commerce at the present time than is possible by any form of legislation, but the Government is considering to what extent legislation on the subject may be desirable in the near future.
