Vol. 1 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - DESTROYED PROPERTY.

To ask the President if he will take steps to ensure immediate investigation into the claims of citizens whose property was destroyed in the recent troubles. Will he state what procedure the Government propose to take to deal with the claims, and when the tribunal is likely to hold its first sitting, and if he will state whether he will consider the advisability of advancing small sums to traders who desire to restart their business in temporary premises.

The President's answer which he has asked me to read is:—"I hope to make a general statement on the further administration of this subject at an early date. The question of making advances on claims is under consideration."
