CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - DESTRUCTION OF MALLOW TOWN HALL.

TOMAS DE NOGLA

To ask the Minister for Finance whether particulars of the claim of the Mallow Urban Council for losses occasioned by the destruction of the Town Hall, Mallow, on September 30th, 1920, by Black and Tans, have been submitted to the Shaw Commission; whether any award has yet been made, and if not, how soon may compensation be expected, so as to enable the work of reconstruction to begin.

I understand that particulars of the claim referred to have not yet been received by the Compensation Commission from the Cork County Council, but that the Council is about to take the necessary steps immediately.
