To ask the Minister for Defence what are the reasons for the arrest by National troops of David Ryan and Cornelius Connor at Carrigaline, Co. Cork, on the 15th September last, and for their continued detention.

As regards David Ryan, military equipment and ammunition have been found at his residence, and he is suspected of being an active Irregular. Cornelius Connor is also reported to be an active member of Irregulars Fianna.
