Vol. 1 No. 28

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - BOUNDARY COMMISSION.

To ask the President of the Ministry if at the recent meetings in London the Boundary Commission was under discussion, and if he has any information to give this Dáil respecting the appointment of this Commission under the provisions of the Treaty.

I cannot undertake to disclose the subject matter of the recent meetings between the representatives of the British and Irish Governments at which the question of the Boundary Commission did not arise. As the Deputy is aware the question of setting up a Boundary Commission cannot arise until the Northern Government has exercised its option under Clause 12 of the Treaty.
