Vol. 1 No. 29

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - SEPARATION ALLOWANCES.

To ask the Minister for Defence whether separation allowances have been paid to Mrs. B. Reilly, of Deerpark Cottages, Ballinasloe, and Mrs. Leonard, Haymarket Street, Ballinasloe, whose husbands are members of the National forces.

The answer in both cases is in the affirmative. Allowances have been paid in both cases up to the last normal date of payment.

Might I ask when the payment was made? My information was that up to within the last fortnight they did not receive these allowances.

Payment was made in both cases. One was paid on the 11th November and the other on the 14th November.
