Vol. 2 No. 17

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - TRADERS' BILLS.

SEAMUS O CRUADHLAOICH

To ask the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that many Listowel traders and tradesmen's bills of seven, eight or nine months' standing, have not been paid by the Army Authorities, although frequent applications have been made for payment at Listowel, Portobello, Limerick and Tralee. Will the Minister say why those Bills have not been paid, and who is at fault? Further, whether he will cause immediate inquiries to be made into this matter.

We are not aware that many bills are outstanding for the periods stated. I am, however, having immediate enquiries made regarding all bills received from the area in question and not settled.
