Vol. 2 No. 26

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - DEPENDENTS' ALLOWANCE (PATRICK BRACKEN).

To ask the Minister for Defence if he has received repeated applications for Dependents' Allowance on behalf of Private Patrick Bracken, O'Connell Street, Tullamore, Offaly (joined 6th May, 1922); if it is correct to state that no weekly assessment has yet been made, and seeing that his widowed mother is entirely depending upon the earnings of her son now serving since last May, if he will have the matter enquired into and settled without further delay.

I have not received repeated applications in this case. The claim has been assessed at the rate of 7s. per week, and payments at various dates, since September last, have been made to Mrs. Mary Bracken, O'Connell Street, Tullamore.
