Vol. 2 No. 33

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - WORLD'S DAIRY CONGRESS.

To ask the Minister for Agriculture whether, in view of the World's Dairy Congress which the United States Government are arranging to hold at Philadelphia next October, he would consider the advisability of sending to the Congress a suitable representative of Saorstát Eireann, who would report to the Oireachtas on the result of the discussions on the various scientific and economic aspects of the milk question.

The Minister for Agriculture has asked me to answer this question. An invitation to participate in the World's Dairy Congress has already been accepted by the Government, and one or two suitable representatives will be sent to the Congress to report to the Government on the results of the discussions on the various subjects to be dealt with, including the milk question.
