Vol. 2 No. 40

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ ORAL ANSWERS. ] - REPORT OF POSTAL COMMISSION.

To ask the Postmaster-General if he has had under consideration the report of the Postal Commission which was submitted to the Government early in December last; whether he is yet in a position to say whether or not the Government is prepared to adopt this report, and whether in view of the great urgency of this question and the danger that continued delay in dealing with it may lead to further trouble in the Post Office, he will consider the advisability of making an early announcement on this matter.

The first part of the Report of the Postal Commission is being considered by the Government. It is hoped that a decision will be reached before long.
