Vol. 2 No. 40

[WRITTEN ANSWERS.] - SEPARATION ALLOWANCE.

To ask the Minister for Defence if he has received repeated applications for separation allowance from Mrs. Lane, William Street, or James Connolly Street, Wexford, on behalf of her son William; and when it is expected that the allowance to this woman will be paid?

Several applications have been received for the allowance. Payments on account were made on the 20th January, 17th February and 3rd and 8th March. The claim has now been assessed, and the allowance will be paid fortnightly in future.
