Vol. 2 No. 41

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - HEALTH OF A PRISONER.

To ask the Minister for Defence whether his attention has been directed to the very grave state of health of Robert Barton, T.D., now a prisoner in Mountjoy, whether Mr. Barton has been examined by the Medical Officer or Officers of the prison, and, if so, what reports upon his health have been made by any such officers; and whether he will personally look into the matter with a view to ascertaining whether these are not the most urgent reasons for Mr. Barton's release.

Mr. Barton has recently been examined by a Medical Officer who did not find any signs of physical unfitness.
