To ask the Minister for Defence for what reason Michael J. Hanley, of Knockmore, Ballina, Co. Mayo, was recently re-arrested, and whether sufficient reason exists for keeping him in prison?

Mr. Hanley's house was constantly frequented by Irregulars. Recently three were captured there, one of whom carried a revolver and ammunition. Furthermore, there is reason to believe that he directed some of their activities.
