Vol. 2 No. 46

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - PAYMENT FOR ELECTION WORK.

To ask the Minister for Finance if he is aware that the Presiding Officers and Poll Clerks, and others who carried out work in connection with the recent elections in Wicklow and Kildare constituency have not yet received any remuneration for such work, and if he will issue instructions for the immediate payments to those persons.

Advances have been made to the Returning Officer of this constituency sufficient to enable him to pay the usual fees to Presiding Officers and Poll Clerks, and if any of these officers have not been paid, they should apply to the Returning Officer.
