COMMITTEE ON FINANCE. - RESOLUTION 5 (INCOME TAX).

That in Sub-section 1 of Section 187 of the Income Tax Act, 1918, the words "the respective surveys and valuations from time to time in force for the purposes of poor rates" shall not apply to the annual value of concerns contained in No. 111 of Schedule A, and such concerns shall, for the purpose of Schedule A, be assessed and charged under Schedule D, in accordance with the rules applicable to Schedule D so far as the same are not inconsistent with the rules of the said No. 3 of Schedule A.
And it is declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this resolution shall have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1913.
