COMMITTEE ON FINANCE. - RESOLUTION 6 (CUSTOMS).

That the several duties of Customs specified in the first column of the Schedule to this Resolution, and which were first imposed by the enactment mentioned in the second column of the said Schedule, and are payable in Saorstát Eireann up to the dates specified as regards the said duties respectively in the third column of the said Schedule, shall continue to be charged as from those respective dates up to the dates specified as regards the said duties respectively in the fourth column of the said Schedule, Provided that the provisions of Section 8 of the Finance Act, 1919, shall apply to the duties aforesaid with the substitution of the expression "Saorstát Eireann" for the expression "Great Britain and Ireland,"
And it is declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution shall have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1913.
