I would suggest now, if I understand the desires of the Committee aright, that the Minister for Finance should move Resolution No. 9, and then that some Deputy should move to report progress, and that the Committee should sit again on Tuesday. Then on Tuesday, when we resume we can have a discussion on No. 9, which would embrace all the points in the general statement of the Minister for Finance to-day. I think that is the reason why we have passed all these resolutions in Committee to-day.

I move Resolution No. 9, as follows: (Amendment of Law) That it is expedient to amend the law relating to Customs and Inland Revenue (including Excise) and to make further provision in connection with Finance.
