Vol. 3 No. 5

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - ATHENRY MERCHANT'S ACCOUNT.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that a sum of, approximately, £180 is due by the military authorities to Mr. P.B. Feeney, of the Premier Garage, Athenry, for repairs, hiring of cars, supply of materials, commandeered car, etc., whether this account is not very long overdue, and whether in view of the fact that Mr. Feeney has got into financial difficulties, owing to inability to meet his creditors, he will see that the account is immediately settled.

I am aware that there is an account rendered by Mr. Feeney outstanding. It is under local investigation. The necessary enquiries will be expedited with a view to early settlement.
