Vol. 3 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - FISHING REGULATIONS ON THE SLANEY.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that although the boats have been returned to the Slaney Fishermen, they are not allowed to fish between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.; if he is aware that these men allege that it is during the night time that they get the best results for their labours, and if he cannot see his way to alter the decision with regard to prohibited hours, will he consider the question of compensation to the men concerned.

The prohibition referred to has now been removed.
