Vol. 3 No. 7

QUESTION TO BE RAISED ON ADJOURNMENT.

I desire to give notice that on the motion for the adjournment I will draw attention to the attitude of the Great Southern and Western Railway Company and other Irish railway companies and their failure to open up sections of the lines that have been closed for six or nine months. I wish to refer to the effect of such action upon trade and industry in the areas concerned, and also the effect as regards unemployment. I will also deal generally with the attitude and policy of the Government towards the Great Southern and other companies affected.
