Vol. 3 No. 8

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - CABINTEELY PRISONERS.

asked the Minister for Defence whether enquiries into the cases of Michael Owens and his son John, of Cabinteely, have been completed; and whether, in view of the fact that they have now been imprisoned for two months and signed the necessary undertaking a month ago, while Michael Owens' wife and five young children are threatened with eviction and are in distress, the Minister is prepared to order the immediate release of the prisoners.

Enquiries into the cases have not yet been completed, but they are being expedited.
