Vol. 3 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - DETENTION IN KILKENNY JAIL.

asked the Minister for Defence what is the reason for the continued detention of Mr. Maurice Healy, of Carrick-on-Suir, now in "B" Wing, No. 323, Kilkenny Jail, and if no charge has been, or is to be brought against him, whether the Minister will consider ordering his early release.

Healy was arrested on the grounds of endeavouring to get in touch with prisoners in Clonmel, by improper means and of suspicious behaviour. It is not the present intention to release him.
