Vol. 3 No. 16

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - COMMANDEERING OF MOTOR LORRIES.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that the National Army in Lismore are constantly commandeering motor lorries from Paxman & Co., Butter Merchants, and if he is aware that this practice will be the means of throwing some of Paxman's employees out of employment, as this is the only means of transport at the disposal of this firm, and, further, will the Minister give an assurance that this firm's lorries will not be commandeered in future.

I am looking into the matter with a view to seeing what can be done.
