Vol. 3 No. 19

COMMITTEE ON FINANCE—ESTIMATES FOR PUBLIC SERVICES. - CONTINGENCY FUND.—(GRANT IN AID).

I move: "That a sum not exceeding £10,000 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1924, for a Grant in Aid for a Contingency Fund." (£10,000 had been voted on Account.)

This Vote is perfectly self-explanatory, all the necessary information appertaining thereto being contained in the footnote. It takes the places of the previous year's Vote for Additional and Unforeseen Services, now discontinued.

Question put and agreed to.
