Vol. 3 No. 32

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - MAYNOOTH INTERNEES.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that there are about fourteen men from Maynooth district interned in Gormanstown Camp who have not been allowed to write home for the past three weeks, and whether this is causing grave anxiety to their relatives; and, further, will the Minister give orders to have those privileges restored to the people concerned.

It is not a fact that there is a prohibition against any person in Gormanstown Camp writing home. There were, however, delays recently in the censorship of letters owing to the great volume of work.
