Vol. 4 No. 5

PUBLIC SAFETY (EMERGENCY POWERS) BILL, 1923. - ARREST OF FIREMEN AND GREASERS.

I wish to give notice of raising a question on the adjournment, in case the Minister for Defence is not here in the meantime, touching the treatment of certain firemen and greasers on the Patrol Ship T.R. 27, at Killybegs, who have been arrested and who are alleged to have been treated inhumanly. If I saw the Minister for Defence beforehand it might not be necessary to raise the question on the adjournment, but in case he is not here I propose to deal with the matter on the adjournment.
