This Bill has already been passed by the Seanad. It will be remembered by the Dáil that on the 18th September of last year a resolution was passed by this House calling upon the Executive to take steps, as soon as it seemed feasible, for Ireland to join the League of Nations. This Bill is brought in with a view to having the assent of the Oireachtas to that Executive act.
