Vol. 5 No. 20

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - WOUNDED CLAREMAN'S CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Finance whether any award has yet been made in the case of Michael Crotty, The Square, Kilrush, who was wounded whilst attending a Republican Court at Cragganock, Cree, Co. Clare, on December 12th, 1920, and whether, considering the exceptional circumstances of the applicant, he will expedite the payment.

The investigation of this case has not yet been completed and no award has been made. All claims for compensation in respect of personal injuries are being dealt with as expeditiously as possible and there will be no avoidable delay in disposing of the claim.
