CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DEPUTY IMPRISONED IN SCOTLAND.

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the President what steps, if any, he has taken, or proposes to take, to secure the release of Mr. John McCurtain, a member of this Dáil, who is a political prisoner incarcerated at present in Aberdeen, Scotland?

Representations have been made on several occasions urging the release of Mr. McCurtain, but, so far, I regret to say, they have not met with success. Advantage will be taken of a suitable opportunity to renew these representations.
