Vol. 5 No. 24

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ACQUISITION OF “DIAMOND BOG,” CO. KILKENNY.

EAMON O DUBHGHAILL

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether the Land Commission proposed to acquire the "Diamond Bog," Coolcullen, Kilkenny, for division under the provisions of the Land Act, 1923, and, if so, when.

Mr. HOGAN

The bog referred to appears to comprise part of the holding of M. Dimond, which is the subject of a purchase agreement in connection with the sale of the Estate of Viscount Frankfort to the tenants under the Irish Land Acts, 1903-9.

The question of the turbary on this holding is at present under the consideration of the Land Commission.
